Redmond, Washington Redmond Guide

The Enhanced listing

Your basic listing is free and stays free: name, what you do, where you are, and how to reach you. Enhanced adds the two things businesses ask for most.

Free

Every physical business in Redmond, whether they ask or not.

  • Name, category and address
  • Phone number
  • Hours
  • Sales and specials, posted by you
  • A claim code so you can edit it yourself

Enhanced · $15.00 a month

Everything above, and:

  • A link to your website
  • Up to five photos, on your page and in search results
  • Your own description, in your words
  • Your email address on the listing

Enhanced, free

Host one sponsor and pay nothing.

  • One small "sponsored by" panel on your listing
  • Never a business in your own category
  • You can refuse any particular sponsor
  • Refusing one does not cost you the package
  • Turn it off whenever you like

How to get it

Claim your listing first. That takes the code from your card and nothing else, and both routes start from there.

Questions people actually ask

Will my free listing disappear if I do not pay?

No. The free listing is the product. Every physical business in Redmond is in here whether or not any money changes hands, because a directory missing half the town is not worth looking at.

What does hosting a sponsor look like?

A small panel down the side of your listing, with the sponsor's name and a line about them. It never shows a business in your own category, and there is a list of adjacent trades that are kept apart too. If you get matched with somebody you would rather not carry, one click removes them and your package stays.

Can I cancel?

Any time, and the package runs to the end of the month you have paid for. After that the listing goes back to free, with everything you typed still there in case you come back.

Do specials cost anything?

No, and they never will. Any listing can post a sale, free and Enhanced alike. It shows on your own page and on the sales and specials page, which is the part of this that only works if everybody is in it.

Does any of this put me on the television channel?

No. The Redmond Guide channel is a separate thing, sold separately, and an ad on it is written and priced on its own terms. A directory listing is free and does not include one, and neither does Enhanced or hosting a sponsor. If you want to be on the channel, ask us about it and we will talk about that on its own.
